Just six minutes a day

So I stopped dancing (again) because I started to get chest pain and I realised I was dancing full on so I took a break.
I have watched so many dance YouTube videos and realised I still love to dance. So last week I started dancing slowly just six minutes a day. And it worked! I did it daily and even though it was only six minutes it was all I needed to not feel like it was too much and stop altogether.
I didn’t dance all out. I just moved my body and it felt great. I also didn’t try and be perfect. I watched YouTube Zumba workouts which are fun and a bit of hip hop. It reminded me I do love dance and I am not racing to be a professional dancer so just six minutes a day is off to a good start. Why? Because I am starting. That is all that matters.
